Wine taxes by state

Kentucky has by far the highest wine excise taxes at US $3.23 per gallon, whereas second placed Alaska is way back on $2.50 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the lowest wine excise taxes are to be found in California and Texas at $0.20 per gallon.
