What needs to happen is a ‘core’ charge on bottles. e.g. when you buy a car battery; if people were charged and could receive the $back then maybe exchanging the bottle when you buy a new bottle would allow the product (bottles) to be recycled vs dumped in the trash. Since glass is a product that is 100% recyclable and reusable, vs plastic or cartons.
