Household visitations seem to be dying out around here. There's a lot of Trunk or Treating, and a few sponsored Halloween kids parties, but in my 3 Halloweens in this house, I have yet to see anybody walking around the neighborhood, and my immediate neighbors kids who are in the age range don't dress up that I've seen.
That largely is my experience, but we live in a very settled neighborhood without many young families around. Neighbor across the street, however, does elaborate Halloween display in the front yard, and they likely will get some action.
